Last night was big for VH1, as “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” made its return to television after a lengthy hiatus. While “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has been away, VH1 has tested the waters with “This Is Hot 97,” following New York’s Hot 97. The latest episode was great cross promotion, as Stevie J and Joseline were featured.
This episode centered around Funkmaster Flex and Ebro having a day off being crashed by Stevie J and Joseline. Other members of the Hot 97 team, Angie Martinez, Laura Stylez, Peter Rosenberg, DJ Cipha Sounds, and Miss Info were also featured. A bit of the focus was also on the planning for Summer Jam 2014.
Overall, whether people love “This Is 97” or they hate it, they are definitely paying attention to the show. Hot 97 is the biggest hip hop radio station and they command a lot of attention, regardless. This show has proven just how entertaining the Hot 97 crew really is.
