Bad Boy Records is back in the spotlight. Much of this success is due to the addition of the Bronx rapper, French Montana. For years, French Montana has been releasing mixtapes on the streets of New York. During the summer of 2011, French Montana caught the attention of major labels and signed with Bad Boy in December.
Before signing French Montana to Bad Boy Records, Diddy signed Machine Gun Kelly, who has also met much success. However, when Diddy announced he was refocusing on his record label, Red Cafe was the first artist signed. In the meantime, Diddy has moved the Bad Boy label from Atlantic Records to Interscope and is pushing the projects.
Energy for Bad Boy Records is the highest it has been since the 1990s and the new stars are ready to shine. Red Cafe released his “Let it Go” single, which features 2 Chainz, Diddy, and French Montana. Eagerly, fans have been waiting for the official “Let it Go” video, especially after a behind the scenes clip leaked. Tomorrow, the wait will be over, as Red Cafe will premiere the music video for the single on MTV2.
