Remy Ma said she doesn’t have any issues with Nicki Minaj
Five years ago, Remy Ma took Nicki Minaj to task with her single “SHEther.” Sampling Nas’ 2001 classic, Remy Ma went off on Nicki Minaj with a scathing diss track. Despite the ladies playing nice, there were rumors that Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj had beef. Remy Ma said Nicki Minaj took shots at her on Gucci Mane’s “Make Love” and Jason Derulo’s “Swalla.”
Remy Ma captured the attention of the music world, when she went at Nicki Minaj. Following a year on “Love & Hip Hop,” Remy Ma was being propped up as the next major female rap star. For some time, there were female rappers being pit against Nicki Minaj. But, Remy Ma was the first one to actually take shots at Nicki Minaj, directly. Prior to their beef, Nicki Minaj spoke to Remy Ma, during her Hot 97 interview.
Recently, Nicki Minaj was asked about City Girls, and she said she would never work with them, due to them dissing her. Just a day later, Nicki Minaj and City Girls ended their beef. Remy Ma recently spoke to TMZ and they asked if she, like City Girls, would end her beef with Nicki Minaj. In response, Remy Ma said she hasn’t had issues with anyone, for a while.
