The highly anticipated new “Mean Girls” remake is finally hitting theaters on January 12. This comes almost 20 years after the original movie’s release, on April 30, 2004. Therefore, Reneé Rapp will be playing the role of Regina George, Angourie Rice will be Cady Heron, and more. This version of Mean Girls is based on Tina Fey’s Broadway adaptation.
Meanwhile, the Mean Girls soundtrack is also on the way. One of the lead singles on this project is “Not My Fault,” which will feature Megan Thee Stallion and Reneé Rapp. Moreover, the cover art was also unveiled on Wednesday, as Megan and Reneé are seen posing together. This single will be released on December 15.
Furthermore, this release comes after Megan Thee Stallion dropped off her first single of the year, in early November. That was “Cobra,” as fans were impressed with the emotions that she poured into it, as well as the visuals for it, which featured an amazon-like setting.
