During times like these, there need to be voices for every community and Al Sharpton is one for the black communities. In fact, in 2004, he launched a run for President of the United States. Though he would fall short of the Democratic nomination, he helped lay the groundwork.

Al Sharpton has continued being a voice in the political field. In 2015, he even had a brief cameo on “Empire,” during the season two premiere. Since then, he has returned to MSNBC, where he is a political and cultural commentator.

This morning, Al Sharpton stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he talked to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The discussion was all about the Confederate monument removals, the Minister March on Washington, and actual politics. Last night, there was even more outrage, in Phoenix.
