Rev Run talks family, TV, AT&T deal, and more with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]
It’s hard for many to imagine, but Rev Run was the biggest rapper in the game, at one point. This was due to him being a part of Run-DMC and they became hip hop icons. However, the current generation did not get to know Rev Run until “Run’s House.”
Not only is “Run’s House” a classic series, it inspired similar family shows from T.I., Game, and Ja Rule. The legacy created by Run-DMC sparked the careers of Russell Simmons, Andre Harrell, Jay Z, Diddy, and Def Jam. Seriously, who ever thought hip hop would take it this far?
This week, Rev Run stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” sitting down with the trio of Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy. During their interview, Rev Run talked about his family and their TV shows. He discussed his AT&T deal and a lot more when they talked.
