Two of the hottest rappers emerging out of the Atlanta scene during the 2013-2014 period are Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug. Last year, Rich Homie Quan released his “Type of Way” single and it blew up during the summer. Young Thug also released “Stoner” last year and it’s blowing up now.
Both rappers have had varied success, scoring major label deals. Young Thug is signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad and is rumored to have an affiliation with Cash Money Records. Meanwhile, Rich Homie Quan is rumored to be signed to Def Jam.
Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug recently talked to ATL Night Spots and they had something to discuss. The breakout Atlanta artists from this and last year have come together for a joint project. They spoke on their upcoming mixtape and what fans should expect from the upcoming project.
