Sometimes, despite the best of intentions, things just don’t work out. A night after Rich Homie Quan performed in Greenville, NC for the first annual East Carolina Music Festival, some New Bern promoters brought him to their two. Here is where tragedy struck.
Rich Homie Quan has consistently made himself one of the biggest names in hip hop. Since his 2013 “Type of Way” breakout, RHQ has worked with the likes of Birdman and Cash Money Records, among others. But, he has been silent for the bulk of 2016.
Yesterday, Rich Homie Quan was involved in a gunfight with some locals in New Bern. Gunfire was exchanged and Rich Homie Quan was taken into custody. He was said to have been questioned by the Craven County Sheriff Department.
