Rich Homie Quan talks Def Jam negotiations, Trinidad James, and Future with “Sway In The Morning” [VIDEO]

Atlanta’s artists have to be commended because every summer there are a handful who transform into household names. This year, Migos and Rich Homie Quan were the two artists to blow, following Ca$h Out and Trinidad James of 2012. Def Jam was on it with their Atlanta artists, signing 2 Chainz and Trinidad James.

If Def Jam has their way, Rich Homie Quan will be the next artist they sign. The deal would be fitting, seeing how L.A. Reid left Def Jam for Epic Records and signed Future, the rumored rival of Rich Homie Quan. After dropping “Type of Way” this year, he plans to deliver a new mixtape next week.

Rich Homie Quan is working on his new mixtape, I Promise I Will Never Stop Goin In: That’s Rite 2. His tape is due on November 26 and Rich Homie Quan visited Sway over at Shade 45 to discuss it. He also talked about the Def Jam talks, Trinidad James’ comments, the situation with Future, and his friendship with 2 Chainz.
