Rich The Kid Says He’s “Flattered” That Atlanta Hawks Guard, Kevin Huerter, Chose Him Over Outkast [VIDEO]

Last week in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta, Hawks Guard Kevin Huerter had social media buzzing. During a timeout in the game in Atlanta, there was a segment of the Hawks choosing which rappers from the city they’d choose over another.
Huerter had fans confused, when he chose Rich The Kid over Outkast. Outkast is regarded by many as maybe the best rappers from Atlanta. Huerter is a fan-favorite in Atlanta for sure, but his opinion here wasn’t welcomed by the hometown crowd that night.
Now, Rich The Kid is speaking on that situation and is “flattered” that Huerter showed him love. Rich added that he grew up listening to Outkast.
“I see they pick me over um, over Outkast last night at the Hawks game. I appreciate it. I’m very flattered. I grew up on Outkast.”
The Bucks ended up winning the series in six games, but the Hawks definitely shocked by the world by how well they’d done this season. Fired Lloyd Pierce as head coach on March 1, Nate McMillan takes over as interim HC, and takes the team to a 41-31 record and the fifth seed. They went on to take down the Knicks and Sixers in the playoffs, before starting to deal with injuries to De’Andre Hunter and Trae Young.
As far as new music from Rich, he put out his “Lucky 7” EP in January. Last month, he also released his new “Boss B*tch” single, feat. Coi Leray.
