Earlier this morning, it was reported by TMZ that Kobe Bryant and four others died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA. The plane caught on fire has no one was alive at the scene. Bryant is a Los Angeles legend as he won five championships with the team and was a 18x All-Star.
There has been conflicting reports that Bryant’s former Laker teammate, Rick Fox, was on board. He won three NBA championships with Bryant during LA’s three-peat from 2000-2002. According to NBATV’s Jared Greenberg, this is simply not true. He took to Twitter to say that he communicated with Fox in text messages after the Bryant news was released.
Greenberg also told people to stop spreading news unless they can confirm it. Thank you so much to him. Prayers go out to Bryant’s family along with the four others on board.
