Early this year, Rick Ross thrust himself back into the spotlight, in a major way. He returned with his first album, in nearly two years, Rather You Than Me, his debut on Epic Records. This album contained the track, called “Idols Become Rivals,” targeting Birdman over Lil Wayne.

Making it clear he wasn’t trying to start beef with Birdman, Rick Ross simply asked him to pay his team. Since then, Rick Ross has stayed out of the spotlight. This year saw his brother, DJ Khaled, along with Future, Kendrick, French, Cardi B, Jay-Z, Kodak, Carti, and more own.

However, Rick Ross wasn’t without controversy, this year. Last night, social media star, @DamnAarielle, who made headlines early last year with rumors about her and Tory Lanez, shared an article about Ross breaking a horse’s back, tagging him in it. This sparked Ross to hit her with fat jokes, eventually making fun of her breasts, leading to her hitting him with an epic clapback.
