Rick Ross gets Pat Riley to dance to Aston Martin Music

Rick Ross transitioned from a star to a superstar, in 2010. When “Aston Martin Music” dropped, the song put Ross on the level of superstar as Jeezy and others. The song began a string of successful collaborations between Ross and Drake. However, all of that came to an abrupt end, when Meek Mill dissed Drake. In 2019, they had a brief reunion. Now, Ross is hanging out with his hometown NBA team, the Miami Heat. He performed “Aston Martin Music” and Pat Riley was enjoying it.

Rick Ross was a relative newcomer, when the Miami Heat won their first championship. In 2006, Ross dropped his debut album. The release of Port of Miami came two months after the Heat won their first title. During the celebration of the championship, Shaq got Pat Riley to get out there and begin dancing with the team. Infamously, he danced to Yung Joc’s “It’s Goin’ Down.” While Ross’ “Hustlin'” was out, it had yet to become a radio hit.

Rick Ross did an interview with “The OGs,” hosted by former Heat players, Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller. During the interview, Ross expressed interest in one day purchasing the Miami Heat. Ross often spends time with the Heat players and personnel. This time, Rick Ross gave the Heat an exclusive performance of “Aston Martin Music.” While he was performing, Pat Riley took the floor and he started dancing to the record.
