Sitting comfortably on top of the rap game, there are many who are interested in Rick Ross’ story. In his earlier songs, Rick Ross spoke of how poor he grew up and what he did to make things better for himself. Successfully selling his drug lord persona, rumors came out about the larger-than-life rapper holding a career as a correctional officer.

Those who were not fond of Rick Ross hoped the photos of him working as a correctional officer would ruin his career. However, before everything, Rick Ross is about his money and he admitted to working the job to put food on his table. But, given the persona he portrays, it did turn some off from him.

In the end, Rick Ross came out victorious and he dominates radio, television, and the internet, even when he does not release music of his own. From the beginning, Rick Ross had a vision of total domination of the rap game. During his commercial shoot with Reebok, Ross delved into his past and how he got where he is today.
