Five years ago, Rick Ross shocked the game when he fired a shot at 50 Cent. He dissed him by name on a track called “Mafia Music.” This track served as the first single off his Deeper Than Rap album. Also, this led to Rick Ross and 50 Cent starting a long-running feud.
There were several others who got involved in the beef, as Rick Ross involved all of 50 Cent’s enemies. The “Mafia Music” remix featured Game, Ja Rule, and Fat Joe and they all took shots at 50 Cent. As of 2014, all of them appear to have moved past beefing with 50 Cent, as Fat Joe even did a song with him.
Rick Ross, however, has continued his beef with 50 Cent and it’s back to being pretty active. Recently, Rick Ross appeared on “Chelsea Lately” and he took an implied shot at 50 Cent. The host of the show, Chelsea Handler, is 50 Cent’s high-profile ex-girlfriend and Rick Ross picked her up when he appeared on the show.
