No doubt, what Rick Ross said on “U.O.E.N.O.” was controversial. But, there are many who feel Reebok should not have ended their deal with Rick Ross. While Rick Ross crossed a line, he made Reebok relevant in hip hop again. Rick Ross’ rap peers have come to his defense, Tyga, Ace Hood, Slim Thug, and Meek Mill have all spoken out.
According to reports by TMZ, Rick Ross is upset by the way he was treated by Reebok and feels betrayed. Of course, things would have been tense, but Rick Ross reportedly did not expect to be dropped. Without a major sponsor, Rick Ross is obviously out of money.
TMZ has also reported that Rick Ross has lost millions over the “U.O.E.N.O.” controversy, with Reebok costing him between $3 and $5 million. On the other side of things, Rocko has moved on. While defending Rick Ross, Rocko has replaced him with Wiz Khalifa, meanwhile Future remains on the track.
