Rick Ross speaks on correctional officer past with MTV’s “RapFix Live” [VIDEO]

MMG RapFix LiveThis week, Sway Calloway hosted Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, and Fat Trel for the latest edition of “RapFix Live” on MTV. All of this comes on the heels of Rick Ross releasing his Mastermind album. Even though this album marks a major milestone for Rick Ross, it comes under a lot of scrutiny.

When Rick Ross’ past as a correctional officer was revealed, many people discredited his past as a Miami thug. His songs spoke on a life completely different than what he raps about. This is something a lot of people have mentioned, but something Rick Ross has spent the past six years ignoring.

MTV hosted Rick Ross and company during the latest episode of “RapFix Live” and the album was discussed. “Rich Is Gangsta” has a lot of people talking, as it contains a slight jab at 50 Cent, but it also touches on his correctional officer past. Sway asked Rick Ross about this and he said he did it to provide for his family and he’d do it again if he had to.
