It’s no secret that Rick Ross is close to many of the key players in the game. A good number of these artists are signed to his Maybach Music label. Many of the others are artists in associated camps and some who just support his movement.
In 2010, Rick Ross began an association with Drake that became bigger than what most would have imagined. It began with “Aston Martin Music” and grew so big that some expected Drake to join the label. Ultimately, he stayed loyal to Lil Wayne, but the camps are close.
Drake soon began to offer his support to Wale and Meek Mill, the franchise signings. Over the past three years, Drake and Meek Mill also built solid chemistry, but this could be in jeopardy, as Meek Mill said Drake doesn’t write his own rhymes last night. In the midst of this, Rick Ross took to his Twitter to give his stance, saying Drake is the better artist.
