This year’s been incredible for RiFF RaFF because he’s managed to really get his career to the next level. His music has begun to gain more popularity and RiFF RaFF found more ways to keep himself in the news. During the spring, RiFF RaFF aired on an episode of the soap opera, “One Life to Live.”

RiFF RaFF’s role was short-lived and he used his time after the premiere to focus on more new music. Because his momentum has been so strong, it was only a matter of time before labels began circling RiFF RaFF. Def Jam missed out on a lot of stars and they are making sure that never happens again.

Def Jam continued their signing spree tonight when they signed RiFF RaFF. According to the reports surrounding the story, Def Jam signed RiFF RaFF for $2 million. They have made a lot of noise with their signings and this is a good look for RiFF RaFF to sign with such an iconic label.
