Rihanna hasn’t released an album since January 2016’s “Anti,” and her last record was “Lift Me Up,” from the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack, in late 2022. Nonetheless, fans are still streaming her music heavily, as she’s still regarded as one of the greatest artists of all-time.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has also earned four new diamond-certified singles from the RIAA. These are “Umbrella,” “Stay,” “Work,” & “Needed Me.” Moreover, Rihanna also becomes the female artist with the most diamond certified singles in RIAA history. This is as a result of reaching seven, in total.

Over the past year, Rihanna has since been teasing the possibility of her ninth studio album arriving. In a recent interview with Extra, she said that this project has been taking so long, due to her wanting her album to be “amazing.”

“It’s gonna be amazing, Rihanna explained. “It has to be — that is the only reason it’s not out yet. If I’m not feeling it and I’m not feeling like it represents the evolution, the time I spent away … There should be a show of growth, right?”
