Rihanna is first female artist with 10 music videos at 1 billion views
Rihanna continues set historic streaming records, even with her not having released an album, since January 2016. Fans were almost treated to a new album in 2023, but ultimately did not happen.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s latest streaming record is another very impressive feat. According to Chart Data, she is now the first female artist in history to have 10 music videos with 1 billion views each on YouTube.
Rihanna’s last record that she released was “Lift Me Up,” in the fall of 2022. That went on to appear on the soundtrack of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” Lift Me Up also peaked at number two in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Moreover, it’s also a certified platinum record by the RIAA, in the US.
Furthermore, Rihanna’s been busy with growing her family, with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky. The two have been dating since 2020, and have had two children, since 2022. Their last child was born in August 2023, after Rih initially announced the pregnancy with her growing baby up, during her Super Bowl halfime show in Arizona.
