Rihanna causes Snapchat’s stock to plummet, even further, after she said “throw away the whole app-oligy,” referring to their ad dissing her, and their apology

One thing is becoming abundantly clear, Rihanna is not one to be messed with. Towards the end of her Def Jam run, Rihanna ran into a bit of struggle. This led to a four year hiatus, where Rihanna had trouble scoring a hit record.

Rihanna hasn’t had any struggles, career-wise, since “Work” dropped two years ago. Once her Drake-assisted single topped Billboard, it was clear Rihanna had another number one album. Since then, Rihanna has moved into the cosmetics world, setting records there.

Despite all of her accomplishments, Rihanna had to contend with a mean Snapchat ad. The ad included a question of whether people would rather hit her or Chris Brown, insensitive to the actual fight they had. After Rihanna took Snapchat to task for their ad, and the apology, their stock has fallen 4% since then.
