Socially, the United States is more divided than it has been since the 1950s and 1960s. Currently, there are two sides, all fighting over the whole NFL situation. Honestly, it seems the president is more focused on those things than what’s going on in other places.
Hurricane Maria hit the United States, although it did not hit the actual states. But, Puerto Rico is indeed a part of the United States, and the entire territory is devastated. Puerto Rico needs help from the US government and it’s entitled to it.
While Rihanna is not from Puerto Rico, she is an American, and is from the islands, Barbados, to be exact. But, one doesn’t have to be from a place to feel compassion. Feeling this compassion, Rihanna went to Trump’s favorite place, Twitter, to ask him to do something to help them out in Puerto Rico.
