Rihanna receives faux fur coat from PETA, after being spotted wearing large fur coat to dinner outing

PETA sends Rihanna a faux fur coat

This month, Rihanna was one of the biggest trending topics in the world. She performed at halftime of Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, AZ. That was the first time that Rih hit the stage for a performance in almost seven years. However, she also confirmed her second pregnancy, as she showed off another baby bump. This comes after Rihanna gave birth to her first child, last may, as she is still dating A$AP Rocky.

However, Rihanna is in the headlines again, for a fur coat that she recently wore. She was spotted wearing a very large one this week, and now, PETA is taking offense. This organization frequently speaks out against celebrities wearing fur items. As a result, they are now sending Rih a faux fur coat, according to TMZ. This item is from Unreal Fur.

Rihanna reportedly received a letter from PETA. This was sent exclusively from Senior Vice President Lisa Lange.

“As a mother, you know what it’s like to feel protective and to want to make sure no harm comes to your family. Please understand that this desire — this instinct even — is shared by the minks, foxes, and rabbits who are torn away from their families and killed for their fur. Won’t you please help create a kinder world for your children to grow up in by deciding today that you’ll no longer wear fur?”

As a result, PETA also wants to donate Rihanna’s fur coats away. This would be to victims of the latest earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. As for Rih’s faux fur, it can also help her “stay warm and fashionable while making the cruelty-free switch.”
