Rihanna’s “Anti” returns to number nine in US after Super Bowl
Last weekend, Rihanna was one of the biggest trending topics in the world, once again. She made her highly anticipated performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Glendale, AZ, as that was her first time on stage in nearly seven years. Rih performed many of her classic records, while also revealing that she’s expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky. Rihanna did so by revealing her baby bump, on stage.
However, Rihanna recently revealed in a new interview with British Vogue, that she’d finally like to release an album, sometime this year. She explained how it’d be “ridiculous” not to.” Rih’s previous album came way back in 2016, which was “Anti.”
As a result of Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance, Anti has also now made a major jump in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Chart Data, it is set to debut at number nine, with 37,000 units sold.
Anti initially debuted at number one in 2016, and contained some of Rih’s biggest records to date. Among them include “Work” featuring Drake, “Love On The Brain,” and “Needed Me.” Rihanna also collaborated with SZA on “Consideration.”
