Rihanna fans have been begging her for a new album for her, as there have been rumors for a while now about her “R9” album coming. The last time she released an album, was back in January 2016, “ANTI.” This was Rih’s eighth studio album.

ANTI continues to post historic milestones as this time, it has set a new Billboard 200 chart record. According to Chart Data, it has now spent 275 weeks on this chart, and becomes the first album by a black female artist to reach this mark.

ANTI originally debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and is currently 3x platinum in the US. It was led by hit singles such as “Needed Me,” “Kiss It Better,” and “Work,” feat. Drake. Work ended up being one of the biggest records of 2016, as it hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 8x platinum in the US. It is diamond in France.

As fans ponder on when Rih’s ninth album will finally arrive, ANTI is definitely still keeping them occupied. It is regarded by many as possibly her best project to date.
