The holidays are supposed to be a happy time spent with friends and family. Sadly, for streetball fans in the Washington, DC-area, it will be a time of mourning. Watts League legendary commissioner, Big Jeff, has passed away.
Just last night, Big Jeff, real name Jeff Johnson was on social media, sharing various posts. Now, sadly, the man is dead and it is another legend gone in 2016. Hip hop is much more than the music, it is about the community and Big Jeff was the DC community.
Fans, friends, family, and other city notables, alike, have taken to Twitter to pay homage to the fallen legend. This is sad news that has taken many by surprise. But, everyone has acknowledged that Big Jeff is moving on to a much better place than this.
