A full generation of hip hop fans have grown up with Tupac Shakur being dead. Definitely one of the more unique figures in the game, Tupac made a lot of changes. Among other things, he was the first rapper to release a double CD as an album.
Tupac was also the prototype for rappers releasing music in prison and in bulk. Prison sentences from the likes of T.I., Lil Wayne, and Gucci Mane saw them follow this mold. Fortunately, these rappers managed to survive.
Sadly, Tupac died on September 13, 1996 after spending a week in the hospital after being shot in Las Vegas. This morning, the trailer for his biopic, All Eyez On Me, debuted. So, the fans have taken to Twitter to praise the trailer and pay homage to Tupac, twenty years later.
