The Midwest is making big noise in the hip-hop and rap world. One artist in particular just released a single featuring one of the  “Biggest Bosses”of them all. Wisconsin rapper Rated-R Playboy releases the single “Same Number” featuring Rick Ross just in time for the warm weather. The single hit streaming platforms last month, already passing 200,ooo streams on Spotify.

Rated-R Playboy is a new trendsetter in music. With a combination of Southern influence and Midwest flare, his sound is unique. Gaining underground fame and more than 1 million streams with the 2020 single “Bossy,” he quickly became a fan favorite. Referencing artist like Project Pat, Lil Wayne and Kanye West, his fanbase is international. Further adding to his impressive stats, his 2021 single “Even The Odds” has over 908,000 streams alone. Continuing to build his fanbase, he collaborated with Chicago artist Baha Banks on the dance single “BBL,” last year. Catching the attention of mainstream media, he’s been featured in The Source, Flaunt Magazine and HotNewHipHop. Starting off 2023 with a bang, this collaboration with Rick Ross puts Rated-R Playboy on everyone’s radar.
