Rob Markman talks hip hop journalism and releasing his first EP as a rapper on #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

What a lot of people probably don’t know is that the majority of hip hop media either used to make music, or wants to make music. Until a few years ago, Sway was probably the king of hip hop media. He became a host through trying to get his music on the radio.

Rob Markman has risen to become one of hip hop’s top journalists. But, he also had dreams of becoming a household name as a rapper. Now, he is living this dream out, as his new EP was released to critical acclaim, as it continues to make waves.

This morning, Rob Markman stopped by “The Breakfast Club.” DJ Envy, though, was out, promoting “Text Ur Phone,” his new single, featuring Fetty Wap. But, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee were present, as Rob Markman spoke on his journalist history and his Write 2 Dream EP, along with talking Angie Martinez, Jay-Z, and others.
