Every day, people are determined and motivated, but mostly for the wrong things. If it comes to something productive, most people aren’t willing to dedicate the time. However, if it’s something that’s not productive, or even harmful, a greater number of people will take action. Take this situation as a prime example. A person went out and got a traffic barrel, of all things, put it over their body, walked over to a person’s house, and stole their package.
Over 67% of all people who have received packages have had them stolen. In addition, around 22% of people have had their packages stolen multiple times. Meanwhile, roughly 34% of people know someone who has dealt with having a package stolen. Breaking it down in mathematical terms, the average value of stolen packages is around $112. As a result, it’s a big deal on many levels, mainly financially, when something gets taken.
When it comes to thievery, it doesn’t matter who gets hurt, as long as they get what they want. The amount of effort that this person went to, just to steal, is alarming. Of all the things, the thief first went out and stole a traffic barrel. After that, the person, likely a male, wore the barrel over their body just to go to a person’s doorstep to take a package. While the person’s face wasn’t shown, what they did was caught on tape by the Ring camera.
