Two years ago, Robin Thicke was given new life when “Blurred Lines” was presented to him by Pharrell. The record also featured T.I. and served as the title of his album. Easily, “Blurred Lines” was his biggest hit and led to more comparisons to Marvin Gaye.
These very comparisons to Marvin Gaye soon cost Robin Thicke more than he could imagine. A lawsuit was presented and Robin Thicke had to pay $8 million. It was definitely an odd and unfortunate turn of events for a man who also lost his wife.
Robin Thicke is promoting his third album in as many years and he stopped by Power 105.1 to discuss it. Angie Martinez spoke to Robin Thicke and he discussed his situation where he was sued by Marvin Gaye’s family. He also discussed life as a single father and his new music.
