Last year, the Houston Rockets were one of the NBA’s biggest disappointments. Still, they managed to get into the playoffs, but got wiped out by the Golden State Warriors. A lot of people say it was the curse of Khloe Kardashian that got James Harden, but that’s doubtful.
Regardless, James Harden put up an MVP-like performance en route to leading the Rockets back to the top of the NBA. This year, the Rockets won 55 games and got the third spot in the playoffs. It is fitting that they faced the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round.
Last year, the Thunder were the 55 win 3 seed, what a difference a year makes. Russell Westbrook made sure his Thunder didn’t get swept out of the playoffs, with tonight’s 115-113 win. But, the fans on Twitter still believe James Harden and the Rockets will get it done in five.
