Rockie Fresh defends Chief Keef in AllHipHop.com interview

Being from Chicago and emerging in 2012, Rockie Fresh immediately drew comparisons to controversial sensation, Chief Keef. No, the Maybach Music signee is nothing like Chief Keef, but being a Chicago rapper was enough for questions to rise. Despite having two different styles, Rockie Fresh and Chief Keef come from the same hostile environment.

Rockie Fresh has caught the attention of the rap game, in recent weeks. Signed to Rick Ross’ popular Maybach Music label, Rockie Fresh made his official debut with the label. Since he first signed with Maybach Music, Rockie Fresh has openly discussed his Electric Highyway mixtape, which he released earlier this week.

AllHipHop.com was among the media outlets who spoke to Rockie Fresh. When the topic of fellow Chicago rapper, Chief Keef, came up, Rockie Fresh jumped to his defense. Admitting he did not know what Chief Keef’s life was like, Rockie Fresh said he made the best out of what he had and deserves a second chance for making it out.
