Back in 2008, Atlanta enjoyed a strong resurgence, where Rocko and Shawty Lo emerged as the new stars. Both rappers’ runs would be short-lived, but their music continued to dominate in the streets. Rocko bounced back and landed with Epic Records and launched the career of Future.
While Rocko still makes music, his focus has been more on his business. Future is his top priority and Young Scooter is also making moves. But, Rocko continues to release new projects. Wordplay 2 is the latest project in the works from Rocko and will likely feature collaborations with Gucci Mane and other Atlanta-area artists.
Earlier today, Rocko released the official Wordplay 2 cover. The mixtape cover was released and the official release date for the mixtape was also released. Rocko plans to release Wordplay 2 on the day of the lovers, February 14. In the meantime, Rocko will drop new songs off the mixtape.
