Four years ago, auto-tune took over the game, but in the worst way possible. Every rapper had out an auto-tune track and it all began with T-Pain. The game became consumed with auto-tune and hip hop needed a major reality check, which Jay-Z delivered.
“Death of Auto-Tune (D.O.A.)” led to a much-needed shift in hip hop, but could not keep the auto-tune down forever. T-Pain briefly took aim at Jay-Z for talking down on the users of the auto-tune, but they worked it out. Since then, Future has emerged with the auto-tune and has been embraced.
Rocko has been the man behind the scenes helping Future to gain his levels of success, but he is ready for his own comeback. Ahead of his new music, Rocko has conducted several interviews. In his latest interview, Rocko talked about T-Pain dissing Future over auto-tune with Vlad TV.
