Minnesota is slowly becoming a new haven for hip hop and is producing a few stars who are making their presence felt. At the forefront of the Minnesota hip hop scene is Rocky Diamonds. He has been putting out music for some time and has really made noise over the past two years.
As an independent artist, Rocky Diamonds made many major moves and recently performed at SXSW 2014. His career has been on a consistent upswing and now there are a lot of labels interested. Major labels are always scouting new artists and one has been on the radar for a while in Rocky Diamonds.
Behind the scenes, Rocky Diamonds has held talks with Polow Da Don, who is the head of Zone 4 Inc. Recently, Polow Da Don took his label to Epic Records to partner with L.A. Reid, who was also in the meetings with Rocky Diamonds. This morning, Rocky Diamonds put a photo on Twitter that confirmed his deal with them.
