Rod Wave earns third straight number one album with “Nostalgia”

Last week, Rod Wave delivered his fifth studio album, “Nostalgia.” This project contained 18 new songs, which were led by singles such as “Call Your Friends,” “Come See Me,” “Checkmate,” and more. Furthermore, Nostalgia also contained a huge feature from 21 Savage on “Turks & Caicos.”

Meanwhile, many anticipated that Nostalgia would also become Rod Wave’s third straight number one album. As a result, that is now the case. According to HipHop-NMore, it is debuting at number one in the US this week, on the Billboard 200 chart. This comes after the album sold 160,000 units in its first week.

Rod’s number one run began in 2021, when his “SoulFly” album debuted atop the Billboard 200. Furthermore, the St. Petersberg, FL rapper has released an album every year, since 2019.

Moreover, Rod Wave is also venturing on his Nostalgia Tour, which is kicking off next month. The first show will be held on October 19, in Lincoln, NE. The tour will run until December 18, where it wraps up in Jacksonville. Special guest performers included are also Ari Lennox, Toosii, G Herbo, and Eelmatic.
