Last week, Rod Wave released his fourth studio album, “Beautiful Mind.” That came after a two-month delay, as fans were ready for this new project from the St. Petersberg, FL rapper. Rod had dealt with a domestic violence case, which ultimately les to a one-week delay for the album, and eventually led to it being pushed all the way back to August.

Beautiful Mind contained 24 tracks, with appearances from Jack Harlow and December Joy. It was led by singles such as “By Your Side,” “Cold December,” “Stone Rolling,” and “Alone.”

Now, Rod is heading for a huge first week, for Beautiful Mind. According to Chart Data, it will debut at number one in the US, with 123,000 units sold. This would be Rod’s second consecutive number one album. In April 2021, Rod reached that mark with “SoulFly.”

Number two on the Billboard 200 is anticipated to be Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti” album, which had been the number one album in the US, for over a month and a half. The third spot will reportedly be held by BeyoncĂ©’s “Renaissance,” which was released at the end of July.
