Rod Wave’s “Nostalgia” on pace to become his third straight number one album

Rod Wave’s “Nostalgia” album on pace for number one debut in US
On Friday, Rod Wave released his fifth studio album, “Nostalgia.” This was led by singles from the St. Petersburg, FL rappee such as “Checkmate,” “Call Your Friends” and “Come See Me.”
Rod put out 18 songs in total, as his lone feature was from 21 Savage. That was on “Turks & Caicos.” Meanwhile, Nostalgia as a whole is on its way to a major first week debut.
As a result, Rod is projected to sell 140,000 units in his first week, with Nostalgia. This would be his third straight number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. He’s released an album every year since 2019, as all five of his albums came in that span. Rod’s last four albums in general have all at least seen a top two debut in the US.
Furthermore, Rod Wave is also venturing on his Nostalgia Tour. This will kick off on October 19, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The tour will run until December 18, where it concludes in Jacksonville, FL. It also contains a solid lineup of special guest performers, which includes Ari Lennox, Toosii, G Herbo, and Eelmatic.
