Roddy Ricch deletes Instagram and Twitter accounts after song criticism

Roddy Ricch released his sophomore album, “Live Life Fast,” in mid-January. This was led by his summer 2021 smash hit single, “Late At Night.” Live Life Fast contained 18 tracks, with appearances from Lil Baby, Fivio Foreign, Kodak Black, Jamie Foxx, and more.

Live Life Fast received mixed reviews, despite debuting at number six, on the Billboard 200 chart chart. This weekend, Roddy also shared a snippet of a new song, that he has in the works.

Fan reactions to this song weren’t very good, as Roddy went on to deactivate his Twitter and Instagram feeds. The criticism appeared to be too much for the Compton rapper, despite the solid success of his second album.

Fans have since been uplifting Roddy, in the midst of him deactivating his social media feeds. Roddy has been established in the industry for two years now, and still has plenty of rooms to grow.

At the end of 2021, Roddy also received his first diamond single, with “The Box.” That originally appeared on his 2019 debut studio album, “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.” That project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It’s also 2x platinum in the US. Life Live Fast didn’t receive the same praise as Roddy’s debut album, but it was still his second consecutive top 10 album.
