Roddy Ricch’s 2019 Breakout Hit Single, “The Box,” Officially Goes 7x Platinum

Roddy Ricch became a star in 2019 as a result of his debut studio album, ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial,‘ which dropped in December. Ahead of its release, it was led by singles such as “Big Stepper” and “Start Wit Me” featuring Gunna. The project ended up debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Box” ended up being the biggest record from this project and it wasn’t even a single. It’s momentum soon soared and became the No. 1 song in the country. Roddy has been quiet in 2020 music wise but The Box’s success hasn’t slowed down at all.

According to Chart Data, The Box has officially been certified 7x platinum by the RIAA. This is after selling over 7 million units. As of now, it stands at No. 45 on the Hot 100. Its music video has also accumulated over 212 million views to this point. For Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, it is at platinum status.
