During times of complacency, some people of color may feel as though such institutions as the NAACP have no place in modern society. Then, what happened in November 2016 takes place. There is always a reminder that people always need assistance.
Long before the political climate became as tough as it is, Roland Martin was a powerful voice. Most got to know him when he was a political analyst on CNN. However, after CNN, Roland Martin came over to TV One to head up their news division.
Roland Martin stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. When they talked, he spoke on the importance of the NAACP and donating to the HBCUs. He is definitely going to continue being a voice in the community.
