Rolling Loud Partners With WWE’s Smackdown; Will Host Two Wrestling Matches During July 23 Festival Date in Miami

Rolling Loud has been bouncing back in a major way from the 2020 COVID pandemic concert shutdowns. They’ve announced returns of their festivals back to cities this year such as NYC, Miami, and the California edition in San Bernardino. The Miami festival is coming soon, from July 23-25.

The opening of the RL Miami festival on July 23 is also bringing some interesting events. WWE and RL announced that two matches from Smackdown will take place in between performance sets that night. As of now though, which wrestlers will headline that night have yet to be revealed.

“What Matt Zingler, Tariq Cherif and the entire Rolling Loud team have built is spectacular,” said Scott Zanghellini, WWE Senior Vice President, Revenue Strategy & Development. “We couldn’t think of a better partner to deliver such a unique WWE experience to fans during the July 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

”I grew up on Sweet Chin Music, mesmerized by the spectacle that Vince McMahon and co have built at WWE,” added Tariq Cherif, RL Co-Founder. “The idea of weaving our two storylines into one world, one must see event, is electrifying.”

The RL Miami venue is Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. Artist headliners for the RL July 23 show are A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage,. Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, and more. Check out the full lineups for July 23-25 below.
