This summer, Bobby Shmurda took over the game with his “Hot Nigga” single. The record earned Bobby Shmurda a deal with Epic Records, affording him the chance to work directly with Sha Money XL. Before the summer ended, Sha Money XL talked to Hip Hop Vibe about why he signed Bobby Shmurda.
Not only did Bobby Shmurda rise to fame, the whole GS9 camp saw a ton of success in 2014, but 2015’s almost here now. Following Bobby Shmurda’s success, Rowdy Rebel has emerged as one of the next stars in the game. He is putting in plenty of work and now he’s getting his time to shine.
Rowdy Rebel was recently at Shade 45 and he talked to Sway at “Sway In The Morning” about his background. He discussed his growing up in New York City, which has helped mold him into the artist he is. During the interview, Rowdy Rebel also discussed how life has changed since “Hot Nigga” was released.
