Russell Westbrook has seen a lot change, since his MVP season. Westbrook was the first MVP from a sixth seeded team in thirty years. As a result, his win was historic. However, within two years, he would no longer be a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. In fact, he’s become a journeyman, and he is now the sixth man for the Los Angeles Clippers. Last night, they took a tough loss to Denver, as Nikola Jokic didn’t even play. After the game, Russ got into it with a fan.

Russell Westbrook was once one of the NBA’s biggest stars. However, his star began to decline, after he was traded away from Oklahoma City. In 2021, Westbrook was traded to the Lakers, and the move was applauded. However, by 2023, it became clear this wasn’t going to work out. As a result, Westbrook was traded again, bought out, and he signed with the Clippers. With the rival Clippers, Russ found a role as the sixth man that works.

Russell Westbrook played well for the Clippers, this year. Unfortunately, the team has struggled mightily with James Harden joining the team. On social media, fans have joked that this roster makes the Clippers favorites to win the 2014 championship. However, in 2024, these players are simply not the same. Guys like Jokic and Jamal Murray now dominate the league. They didn’t even play in the Nuggets’ win over the Clippers. As a result, the fans were mad, and one confronted Russ, leading to an argument.
