Russell Westbrook talks Thunder, teammates, exceeding expectations, fatherhood, and more in season exit interview [VIDEO]

After this season, the sports world learned a lot about Russell Westbrook and the type of player he is. When it was him and Kevin Durant for the Oklahoma City Thunder, they thought he could never carry the team. So, when Durant left, many thought Westbrook would.
While Kevin Durant left and joined the Golden State Warriors, killing a potentially-epic rivalry, Russell Westbrook stayed. It was easy to give up, but he willed the Thunder to remain a strong team. They still managed to make the playoffs, losing in five to Houston.
Yesterday, Russell Westbrook spoke to the media in the Thunder’s post-season press conference. There, he expanded on the expectations many had for the team, this season, and how he and his teammates ended up beating that. He also spoke on his impending fatherhood status.
