Quarterback Ryan Tannehill took over as the starter for the Tennessee Titans today against the LA Chargers. Many, although disappointed, weren’t surprised to see Tannehill replace Marcus Mariota. The former number 2 overall pick has been on the bubble in terms of actually being a franchise quarterback to take his team to a new level. So the coaching staff made the difficult decision and went with the veteran who was traded to the team early this year during free agency.
Well damn, it looks like they made the right move because Tannehill had a day. Throwing for 312 yards and two touchdowns, Tannehill outperformed Mariota’s yards per game already. Rallying to defeat the Chargers 23-20, fans are really pleased by what they see. Check it out.
