Iconic, that is one word to describe Cicely Tyson, and classy is another one. To everything she was a part of, Cicely Tyson brought a certain level of professionalism. Up until the very end, she remained beautiful on the inside and out.
Cicely Tyson enjoyed a very long career, and an even longer life. Only a few weeks ago, Cicely Tyson enjoyed her 96th birthday. Enjoying it alongside of her was her legion of fans, form each step of her career.
In recent years, Cicely Tyson saw a bit of a resurgence, in her career. She had roles in some of Tyler Perry’s films, which introduced her to the younger demographic. This afternoon, Cicely Tyson passed away, according to sources close to her, only weeks after turning 96, leaving her family, friends, and legion of fans to mourn her death.
