Saweetie and Quavo have been rumored to have broken up over the last 24 hours after it was noticed that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. The two didn’t give a public explanation for this but many assumed that they just had a simple argument. Now, Saweetie is speaking out.
Saweetie just took to her Twitter feed to reveal that she and Quavo did in fact break up. She explained how she’s felt hurt and betrayal behind the scenes. She also alluded to Quavo allegedly cheating.
“I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.“
Saweetie also “emotionally checked out” a while ago but at the same time, currently feels peace and freedom. At this point, she also is on a new “chapter of elevation.”
Hopefully, Saweetie continues to find happiness, with or without a man. She’s already winning big again with another hit single in “Best Friend” feat. Doja Cat right now, which is No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
